Talent Acquisition Manager at Bluebird Staffing, has a passion for golf, barbecuing food, spending time with family, fishing, hanging out with friends, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.  Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Joe has been living in St. Louis for the past 25 years and considers it his home.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, Joe is responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent for Bluebird Staffing.  He enjoys working with people and helping them find their dream job. He's known for his ability to identify the right candidate for the job and his excellent communication skills.

Joe's love’s to golf with friends and continues to play and improve his game.

Barbecuing is another passion of Joe's, he took home the first place prize with his award winning ribs in a local barbecue competition.

Family is incredibly important to Joe, and he often visits his parents and siblings back in Toledo. He has a close relationship with his niece’s and nephew and enjoys spending time with them whenever possible.

Fishing is another hobby that Joe enjoys, and he often takes trips to nearby lakes and rivers with his friends. He loves the peacefulness of being out on the water and the thrill of catching a big fish.

Joe's social life is also important to him, and he enjoys hanging out with his friends and watching sports. He's a die-hard fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and can often be found at Busch Stadium, cheering them on with his friends.

We are proud to introduce Shannon Hurley, our newest Talent Acquisition Manager with Bluebird Staffing.  Shannon's journey into the world of recruiting is a unique one, transitioning from a rewarding clinical background as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to now helping fellow nurses discover their dream travel contract positions.

With an impressive eleven years of nursing experience, Shannon honed her skills at Main Line Health, where she served as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum RN from 2011 to 2018.  Following her passion for Women's Services, she relocated to Austin, Texas, where she not only continued her hands-on work but also took on the role of Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Clinical Nurse Educator.  In this capacity, Shannon successfully onboarded 70 new hires, including many travel nurses, during the challenging times of the COVID pandemic.

Shannon's commitment to learning and growth is evident in her excitement about venturing into the recruiting world.  She joins the Bluebird Team with an eagerness to collaborate and a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with her colleagues.  Leveraging her extensive network and experience, Shannon aims to contribute to the growth of Bluebird by connecting talented nurses with fulfilling travel opportunities.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Shannon is a dog lover and enjoys spending quality time with her furry companion, Harper.  After her hospital shifts, you can often find her exploring the scenic beauty around the lake in Austin, a cherished activity she looks forward to continuing in her newfound home back in Pennsylvania.

As Shannon embraces this new chapter, we are confident that her clinical expertise, coupled with her passion for helping others, will make her an invaluable asset to the Bluebird Team.  Welcome, Shannon, to a world of endless possibilities in talent acquisition!

Chris Keane is a Talent Acquisition Manager at Bluebird Staffing, a leading Healthcare IT and Nurse Staffing company, Chris is based in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was born and raised. With a wealth of experience and a strong work ethic, he goes above and beyond to assist IT contractors and travel nurses in finding the perfect contracts that match their career aspirations.

Beyond his professional achievements, Chris has led an interesting and diverse life. He possesses a spirit of adventure and has traveled extensively, immersing himself in different cultures and experiences. His most transformative journey took him to Costa Rica, where he resided for 15 years. It was there that he met his wife and started a beautiful family. Chris and his wife are proud parents of two children, a boy and a girl, who bring immense joy and fulfillment to their lives.

Chris's passion for basketball has been a driving force in his life since his early years. Growing up, he showcased exceptional talent and determination, setting point-scoring records during his high school career. He continued his basketball journey in college, where he honed his skills and further developed his leadership qualities on the court.

While Chris dedicates much of his time to helping healthcare professionals secure their dream contracts, he also finds immense joy in coaching his son's basketball team, the Junior Patriots. This involvement allows him to combine his love for the game with his commitment to guiding and inspiring young athletes.
